Albert Palancia was the founding father of the Albert Palancia Insurance Agency. He began providing insurance solutions to the community in 1946. The Albert Palancia Insurance Agency has evolved into a leader in the insurance industry through its proud owners, Joseph, Mark and Benjamin.
Joseph T. Palancia's reputation is widely known throughout the community. An expert in the insurance industry, he also has a distinguished record of service. He is also dedicated to service above self; a motto he practices daily. Joe lives in Harrison, NY and is an active member of the Harrison/Mamaroneck Rotary club. Joe is also a past Rotary Club President, a Paul Harris fellowship award recipient, a Past president of the Mamaroneck Chamber of Commerce and a past member and chairman of the Mamaroneck Budget Committee.
Joe recognizes that good relationships are the key to good business. Understanding individual needs and having the experience to address them is Joe’s key to success.
Joe is licensed in eight states as a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent & Broker and he is also a Life & Health Insurance Agent & Broker. His specialties include Contractors General Liability and Workers Compensation, as well as, insurance for the food & beverage industry.
Mark Palancia joined the Albert Palancia Insurance Agency in February, 1980. Mark specializes in all aspects of personal insurance, which includes automobile, homeowners, boat, motorcycle and umbrella insurance.
Mark is a graduate of the POHS Institute School of Insurance and is licensed as a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent and Broker.
Mark is an active member of the Christopher Columbus Society of Yorktown Heights and is the Co-Chair of the Albert Palancia Memorial Golf Outing. As a resident of Yorktown Heights, Mark has coached many Yorktown youth sports and has remained active in the school system, as he is a devoted family man. Mark lives in Yorktown Heights with his wife and two children.
Benjamin J. Palancia joined the Albert Palancia Insurance Agency in 2001 after achieving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science & Spanish from the University at Albany. Ben specializes in general liability and workers compensation insurance for contractors, restaurants and commercial buildings and is also an expert in professional liability insurance.
Ben holds licenses in many states as a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent & Broker and is also licensed as a Life & Health Broker.
As a long-standing and devoted member of the community, Ben remains active in many charities. He is a Past President of the Mount Kisco Rotary Club and is a founding member of the Mount Kisco Rotary Foundation. In 2012, Ben received the honor of being named a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Ben is also the President of the Country Children’s Center board of directors, based in Bedford Hills, NY and serves on the executive board of the Board of Directors of the Boys’ & Girls Club of Northern Westchester. Located in Mount Kisco, NY.
Locally, Ben coaches two American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) soccer teams and one Somers Youth Sports Organization (SYSO) football team.
Additionally, Ben was named as one Westchester’s “Forty under Forty” Rising Stars in 2013 by the Business Council of Westchester.
Ben resides in Somers, NY with his wife, Joanna and children, Benjamin, Jr, Nicholas and Julianna.
